1) What this service is

Swim Time Converter provides tools to compare swim performances across pool types. Core features include: converting times between SCY, SCM, and LCM; event-aware matching (e.g., 500y ↔ 400m, 1650y ↔ 1500m); adjustable decimal precision; support for multiple time formats (ss.hh, m:ss.hh, h:mm:ss.hh); “Copy result”; pace readouts; and optional per-wall advantage sliders that model start/turn effects. Outputs are estimates intended for guidance only—not official entry times.

2) Your responsibilities

• Use the Site lawfully and responsibly.
• Verify results with your coach/meet referee before using them for entries, seeding, or records.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or reverse engineer the service or its underlying models.
• Only use the “Copy result” and sharing features in ways that comply with applicable rules and policies.

3) Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under your local laws to use the Site. If you are under the age where consent is required, use the Site only with a parent/guardian or coach supervising.

4) Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, code, and trademarks (including the Swim Time Converter name and logo) are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute significant portions of the Site without permission, except as allowed by fair use or applicable law. You may link to our pages and share individual results for personal or team use.

5) Sports & affiliation disclaimer

We are an independent tool and are not affiliated with or endorsed by World Aquatics (FINA), USA Swimming, NCAA, or any other governing body. Our conversions are approximations and may not match official calculations used by specific organizations or meet software.

6) No warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that results will be accurate for your particular technique, turn proficiency, or pool conditions, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Site.

8) Third-party services

We may use third-party providers (e.g., hosting, security, analytics). Those providers have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

9) Changes to features and terms

We may add, modify, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms occasionally. If changes are material, we’ll take reasonable steps to notify you (e.g., a notice on the Site). Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

10) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Venue and jurisdiction will be in the courts located in Pakistan, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
